Fleetwood wins workers’ camp contract

Loading ...Fleetwood has been awarded the contract to build a 150-bed workers’ camp in Kununurra.
The Western Australian Government is funding the accommodation as part of the Ord-East Kimberley Expansion Project.
The idea is to avoid inflating house prices and tying up tourist accommodation by providing short-term housing for workers building channels, roads and drainage associated with the project.
Fleetwood will also be responsible for refurbishing 25 units being held in storage in Kununurra.
