Kamal Haasan is known for his intellectually stimulating cinematic forays. His every movie is awaited with bated breath and each one of his movies has something new to offer. After Dasavatharam, also spelt Dhasavathaaram, where he portrayed ten different roles, he moved on to his next big project Marmayogi. A mega budget extravaganza which had culled its supporting cast from the best of the Indian film industry (Venkatesh, Hema Malini, etc) the project budget was over Rs. 100-crores. A while ago Hema Malini had categorically denied having anything to do with Marmayogi giving rise to speculations that the project had been shelved due to budget constraints. But with all these rumours flying around the shooting of Marmayogi is progressing briskly in Hyderabad. A huge set has been erected at Ramoji film city for this purpose.
